Job Description

 

Key accountabilities:

 

Coordinating the internal audit program for QMS, Process and Product audit, ensuring adherence to QMS and customer requirements
Carrying out internal audits to IATF 16949 standard
Identifying nonconformities and opportunities for improvement through internal audit
Supporting external audits
Leading the progression and closure of actions and workstreams identified through continual improvement processes, with a focus on internal audit actions
Support the investigation of quality issues from customers and internal production
Use problem-solving techniques to carry out quality investigations, ensuring conformity to customer and QMS requirements
Agree and implement corrective actions identified in quality investigations
Engage with customers and report on status of customer investigations
Update and maintain production documentation, such as PFMEA, Process Flows and Control Plans, to standardize and close quality investigations
Reporting on the status of QMS & Compliance processes
Ensure conformity to customer and QMS requirements by reviewing, maintaining, and updating QMS documentation, processes, and procedures
Ownership of SQDCPE KPI reporting and communication

Essential technical and professional skills, knowledge and qualification:

Understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 requirements
Internal auditing experience, preferably with IATF 16949 internal audit qualification or equivalent
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification and/or experience
Understanding of manufacturing core tools such as PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA and SPC
Skilled in problem solving techniques and knowledge of continual improvement
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills and confident in presenting and reporting
Confident in leading small investigation teams
Good level of IT skills, particularly MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint

Desirable technical and professional skills, knowledge and qualification:

Application of IATF 16949:2016 requirements
Qualified IATF 16949:2016 Lead Auditor
Experience in automotive engineering
Experience in production assembly
