Job Description

RSC eCommerce performance manager

Ricardo Strategic Consulting (RSC) is a leading strategic consultancy, complementing Ricardo’s 100-year heritage of engineering and technical excellence.  We are developing the marketing, sales and delivery of our Knowledge Solutions, which includes news reports and database subscriptions, subscription-based consultancy support and training and are looking for a an eCommerce performance manager to help to drive growth for this important product and service area.

The main function of the RSC eCommerce performance manager will be to support RSC growth targets by managing, optimising and growing Ricardo’s International eStore. You will report into the Ricardo Knowledge Commercial Manager, work alongside content producers and have access to marketing support. We are looking for an RSC eCommerce and performance manager who has a data insights background with experience in UX and Conversion Rate Optimisation.


New Product Introduction function

Collaborate with New Product Introduction function to identify and plan new products for the eStore to maintain a regular cadence of new products
Undertake competitor research to understand our competitors’ on-line offerings, pricing, promotional strategies to support this activity

Data and analytics

Use Google Analytics and other business tracking tools to benchmark, measure and analyse key performance metrics including intangible benefits.
Working with business partners to improve processes through analytics requirements and giving input into the assessment, design, development and implementation of IT
Evaluate best practice approaches and strategies to improve eStore sales conversions and customer engagement
Maximise conversion and revenue upon all digital transformation projects resulting in better consumer journeys.
Own data integration and governance across in house and third-party tools

Oversee day-to-day operations of the eStore

Undertake data entry of products including extended product descriptions and product images and manage product introduction from other divisions
Leading web merchandising improvements to optimise conversion (A/B testing and personalisation)  
Manage and maintain order fulfilment processes (including SAP processing)
Scope and document any eStore additional functional requirements /improvements for future development
Translate business requirements into solutions around multiple supporting technologies (Content Management tools, websites, SEO / campaign tracking tools, reporting)

Paid Digital and Social Ownership

To “own” the success and oversee the execution of, all paid digital and social alongside our content writer.
Ensure all paid digital campaigns deliver a top-notch customer experience throughout the funnel
Serve as the internal and external expert responsible for trafficking, set-up, launching, optimising, and measuring advertising campaigns on Google, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and any other digital channel that can drive success for Ricardo Knowledge.

Manage RSC customer relations for the eStore

A great team player who has experience liaising with multiple stakeholders with excellent project management skills.



Have a least 4 years’ experience working in ecommerce
Proficient and ‘geeky’ about using Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager
Be passionate about user experience and conversion rate optimisation
Ideally have design skills with experience of creative asset creation
Experience of SEO, Paid Search, Social and Affiliate Marketing
Have a ‘user experience’ mindset
Experience working with Kentico U-Commerce
