Job Description

To provide professional EA support to the CFO and proactive administrative support to the Finance, Quality/ESG/Group Risk departments, in order to facilitate efficient business operations across Global Business Units.


Key accountabilities:

Provision of first line support to the CFO and Head of Quality/ESG/Group Risk
Effective diary management, monitoring emails and responding appropriately
Arrangement of travel/production of itineraries (May require some occasional out-of-hours support)
Acting as a key liaison point between the leadership team and other key parties, setting up meetings as appropriate and maintaining effective communication
Working with external advisors to co ordinate and set up meetings with third parties
Administration support to the Finance team
Preparation of documentation for Board and ad hoc meetings as requested
Some data recording and analysis of Excel worksheets
Production of complex PowerPoint presentations
Collating information for business updates and keeping accurate records
Processing expenses as requested by the leadership team
Undertaking ad-hoc projects as required
Provision of back up support as required, during periods of absence elsewhere in the PLC administration team


Skills, qualifications and experience:

Significant experience in providing executive-level support, within a global corporate environment
Proven organisational skills within a demanding environment
Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
Ability to produce complex and professional Powerpoint presentations
Prior experience of working with spreadsheets
Experience of publishing on Intranets, with SharePoint experience an advantage
Ability to organise complex travel arrangements, meetings and itinerary requirements, able to take account of global time zones
Organization of business or social functions for management retreats, conferences or off-site meetings
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Educated to at least A level standard or equivalent
