The new role of Purchasing Team Leader will manage and drive the UK Procurement team.
Procurement of Direct and Indirect spend in UK, with an annual spend in excess of £30M
Management and ongoing development of the UK Procurement personnel, systems, tools and techniques.
Responsibility for the company purchasing procedures.
Identification and development of new supply sources.
Drive and monitor supplier performance.
Drive key initiatives such as Cost reductions programmes.
Implement Global Procurement strategy
Set up and maintain strategic agreements with critical suppliers.
Drive ESG agenda with suppliers to support NetZero and SBTi targets
Experienced in creating and managing supplier Agreements
Candidates wishing to be considered for this position should have the following qualifications/experience:
Experience in management of Procurement or Supply Chain organization.
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Membership of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
Experience with a wide range of purchased / manufactured products and special processes.
Knowledge of SAP an advantage
The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
The ability to work to tight deadlines.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programmes.
Strong ability to drive changes.
