Job Description

Based out of the Ricardo India Office, the role will report directly into the Vice President and Head RSC India. Ricardo is an engineering solutions business, the success of the business depends on the ability to deliver exciting value propositions to our customers, meeting their needs through technical solutions and delivering these as successful projects. Accountability / Key Responsibilities:

Focus on key modules of client projects and work towards leading engagements

Support clients on a wide variety of topics, including but not limited to

New product development and new market entry strategy development
Assessing market drivers, customer needs as part of product strategy development
Technology assessment, road mapping and adoption scenario modelling/forecasting
Competitive benchmarking of products, services, solutions
Supply chain of automotive business- vehicles, components, electric vehicles
Pricing analysis, Value chain analysis
Voice of customers

Preparing project status reports, project reports
Conducting primary and secondary research, data/requirement gathering, data analysis
Support senior leadership team
Creatively uses data sources to develop fact base where data is hard to access

BE/B.Tech (Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, Mechatronics, Production, Manufacturing systems)

For the Consultant role, we seek people with advanced degrees, such as an MBA, a master’s degree from Tier 1 institutes
Should have 6-7 years of total work experience in the automotive, industrial products or consulting sector
Should have prior experience in at least one of the listed domains- M&A, Technology strategy development, policy/regulatory, e-mobility strategy, operations, and supply chain strategy
Should have strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Experience working in global teams
Adaptable to any client, industry sub sector or technology base; the candidate must rapidly learn the fundamentals of the client business model and project issues to offer immediate assistance
Ability to communicate complex issues and recommend solutions to senior client leadership
Should have direct experience of working on MS office, power point, excel work packages
