Job Description

Structure and reporting relationship

In this role, you will report directly to the Business Systems Manager. Working with and supported by the other members of the Business Systems team, you will provide a service to a wide variety of people in many different roles across the two UK sites of Ricardo Performance Products Ltd.

Section 2: Role essentials

Key accountabilities:

Working with end users to understand and document data analysis and reporting requirements, and then delivering them
Managing the flow of data from the ERP system into the data analysis and reporting tools
Providing limited 2nd line ERP management support
Sharing knowledge, learning and ideas with the team

Additional/special features of the role:

This is a maternity cover role.

This role is a hands-on role designing, developing and delivering capabilities to internal customers, not a project management or pure business analysis role.

Essential technical and professional skills, knowledge and qualification:

Microsoft Power BI / Power Query
SQL query
Experience working with ERP systems (ideally Infor LN)
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Fluency in English both written and spoken.
Ability to travel as required between Ricardo’s Leamington and Shoreham technical centres.
Ability to review local customer requirements and translate them into deliverable designs with the best overall high level benefit
Minimum 2 years in a similar role

Desirable technical and professional skills, knowledge and qualification:

SQL database management
Infor systems (LN, Data Lake, ION)
Experience in an industrial / manufacturing environment
Microsoft Power Automate
