JOB PURPOSE

To provide general administrative support to senior Market Sector, Project Management and Engineering staff.

Responsibilities include:

Arranging and management of staff travel bookings working closely with the Ricardo travel provider

Management of travel visa applications
Arranging and management of meetings and diaries
Dealing with telephone calls and e-mail enquires
Providing administrative support to staff as requested, e.g. helping produce documents, filing etc.
Assisting with collation and submission of expenses claims
Tracking and management of timesheet completion
Management of the leave system including maintaining flexible hours times, absence self-certification and paternity accrual
Completion and submission of purchase requisitions
General office housekeeping including post and stationary supplies
Provide lunchtime and afternoon reception cover

 

Skills required:

Microsoft Office with particular knowledge of Excel and Word

Experience with general office administration
Good organisational skills
Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
Experience of working in a pressurised office environment
Flexibility to working hours

 

Professional and Personal Experience       

 

You should have proven office experience, working in a busy administrative role, with excellent communication skills.
